What is your preference?  Once again, everything is possible.  You want a beachside religious ceremony, no problem. 

In Mexico a religious ceremony can be done as a stand-alone symbolic ceremony or it can be combined with a civil ceremony. Mexico only recognizes civil ceremonies as legally binding. Most resorts throughout Mexico and the Caribbean have nearby religious officiants that they work closely with and are very experienced working with ceremonies of various faiths.

In other Caribbean destinations like the Dominican Republic and Jamaica, most religious officiants are able to perform legally recognized ceremonies.
